Nylon drag chain is specifically manufactured for small and medium automatisms such as car washing systems and dust suction plants for textile machines. The required length is obtained by the addition of links joined together by snap pins.

Double link drag chain. Removable bridge-piece with fast hooking and unhooking both from top and bottom part. This drag chain consists of two side links connected together both top and bottom by bridge-pieces, which determine the drag chain width. Links are joined together by antifriction pins. The drag chain length modification is quick and easy also in the case of installation of the drag chain, and no particular tools are required.

For long lengths of travel the first section of the the drag chain to be reverse radius in order to cancel self-supporting so that the top section slides on the bottom one. These drag chains can slide on themselves or on a plane , limiting the wear.

The steel drag chain is widely used in many important industrial fields such as steel mills, foundries, aerial platforms, hoisting plants and die-casting machine tools.
The internal and external links are made of hardened hot-galvanized steel. The bridge-pieces are made of aluminium and can be provided with nylon separators that can be moved inside all the chain width.
On request the chin can be finished with stainless steel covering placed in order to close entirely the upper and the lower side to protect the cables.
